As you know, Relay for Life is one of the events we do as a way of giving back to the com-munity! This year's event is on Saturday, June 9, going into Sunday morning, June 10. We are having two tent campsites this year - one will be for Leah and all the yummy food she brings; the other for us to promote WBC and host a Duck Pond onsite fundraiser!

If you have pictures from any events or meetings this year, be sure to forward them to our
historian, Tiffany DeSpain. When sending photos make sure you note what event/meeting
they are from and if at all possible who is in the photos. This is very helpful for scrapbooking as
Tiffany does not know everyone in the organization. Please send photos to tiffany@savoyrecreationcenter.com.
This years scrapbook is coming together nicely and we would like to have all meetings and events
represented. Thanks for sharing!
Would you like an opportunity to promote your business to WBC Members? Donate a small door prize for our luncheon and you can raise awareness of the products or services you sell and show your support for our organization.
Bring your business cards and promotional materials to set up on our Promotion Table at each luncheon.
FREE as part of your paid WBC membership, you can now submit ads (or coupons) that will run in our monthly newsletter. Here are some things you need to know:
- Submit ads to Ashlee Schoonover at aschoonover@clark-lindsey.com by the 1st of the month
- Submit ads as either a Word or Publisher document
- Indicate how long you want your ad to run (ads can be run indefinitely as long as you are a paid member)
- Remember to make sure you have permission to place the ad/coupon and use any logos, etc., WBC is not responsible for copyright issues or dishonored coupons
- Note: the final size of your ad will depend partly on the # of advertisers (standard will be business card size)
Start working on your ad today.....and remember to mention this “perk” when you ask your employer to cover the cost of your WBC membership! |
